How it works

Drop it in. Clean it. Take it with you.

Whyaiai re-exports your images in the browser, which leaves the hidden metadata behind while keeping the visible image.

01

Choose your images

Drop one image or add a batch from your device. The queue stays local to your browser.

02

Set the output

Keep the original dimensions or choose a smaller size. JPG, WebP and PNG are available for the cleaned copy.

03

Clean the batch

The browser decodes and re-encodes each image. The exported file contains the image data without the common metadata tags.

04

Download and share

Download a file or export the finished batch. Keep the original if you still need the camera and editing information.

Why re-encoding works

Image formats store pixels and metadata in different parts of a file. Whyaiai creates a fresh image from the pixels in your browser instead of carrying the old file structure forward. That is why the clean copy can lose EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP information.

Keep the original, then use the before-and-after report to see which common markers were found and whether they remain in the clean copy.
