About

Whyaiai keeps the last ten seconds from becoming a research project.

It is a small, focused image metadata remover for the moment before you share a photo or publish a batch.

The problem is easy to miss.

A photo can carry GPS coordinates, camera information, capture dates, editing history and other tags that never appear on the screen. Most people do not want to study file formats before posting a picture. They just want a clean copy.

Whyaiai makes that copy in the browser. The work stays on your device, so a personal photo does not need to leave the browser for cleaning.

What we remove

  • EXIF camera and capture data
  • GPS and location information
  • IPTC, XMP and common provenance tags
  • Embedded previews and other non-pixel data produced by export

Two different jobs

  • The metadata cleaner removes information stored alongside the image without changing the visible picture.
  • The visible-mark tool lets you select a logo or label and change that selected area with a local CPU edit.
  • Neither tool reads or promises to erase an invisible watermark or change a platform’s later label.
