Some image and editing tools write software notes, XMP fields or provenance information into an export. Those fields can describe the tool or workflow even though they are not visible in the picture.
Clean the file metadata

What this does not change
This removes information stored in the file. It does not remove a platform label added after upload, erase a visible watermark or determine how the pixels were created.
